Cluster Atmosphere's are Enriched

Clusters contain a massive (5x M_stars) hot atmosphere in hydrostatic equilibrium.

This atmosphere typically has 1/3 solar metallicity. This enrichment likely arose from starburst winds occurring earlier in the cluster's life.
